For almost 30 years, thanks to music, I had the good fortune to see you regularly during concerts around the world. I would like to thank God for our long life and for giving us the opportunity to bring people together with joy and compassion... as in the great Mandingo family of Kela*.

*Kela is a Malian village of about 2,000 inhabitants, located 30 km south of Bamako, on the road to Guinea. Only families of ‘griots’ (oral poets, storytellers and musicians) live there and the village remains the centre of Mandingo culture.

Depuis près de 30 ans ! de par le monde et grâce à la musique, j’ai eu la chance de vous revoir régulièrement, le temps d'un concert
Je voudrais remercier Dieu de nous avoir donné la longévité et l'opportunité de nous réunir avec joie et compassion… comme dans la grande famille Mandingue de Kela*.
